APPRENTICESHIPS

Our current apprentices - The way forward

We currently have eight apprentices attending the National Construction College Apprenticeship Scheme at Bircham Newton and a further six apprentices will be starting in 2016. Pictured opposite is a selection of our current apprentices.

The CITB appprenticeship scheme covers two years of training to achieve your NVQ Level 2 in Tube & Fitting.

Over the last seven years we have supported 34 employees through their scaffolding apprenticeship.

Shane Goodrum winner of apprenticeship award

Shane was one of our apprentices who completed the scheme in 2011 and he received the Winner of Year 2 apprenticeship award at the National Construction College, Bircham Newton.

The prestigious ceremony honours its brightest and most promising apprentices. Chris Barrett, Head of Vocational Services at the National Construction College East, commented: "Apprentices not only ensure that a loyal workforce is developed with the skills that your business needs, but they also help ensure that the industry avoids skills shortages in the future by securing talent now.
